We drive South to Sossusvlei , to experience the so called “Sand Sea” of Namibia, spending two nights there, we then continue further South to Luderitz, with an overnight stay en route at Helmeringhausen to break the journey. On arrival at Luderitz we explore the surroundings, including the famous ghost town of Kolmanskuppe. We then leave the West coast behind and head for the spectacular Fish River Canyon were we spend two nights. The journey to Windhoek commences, with a stopover in Marienthal. The tour then terminates the following day upon reaching Windhoek.

We rise early to take a boat trip on the Walvis Bay lagoon (weather depending) to experience the popular oyster farm and prolific birdlife.
After the boat ride we travel by 4 x 4 to Sandwhich Harbour where we enjoy a light lunch in the dunes. Riding up and down these majestic dunes is an experience not to be missed. We experience beautiful dune vistas with the ocean as a backdrop and drive past the salt pans en route back to Walvis Bay. Overnight in Swakopmund.

We rise at a respectable time and leave Walvis Bay behind, briefly stopping at Dune Seven, one of the biggest dunes in this area. We make a stop at Vogelfederberg to marvel at the amazing granite formations.
Lunch at Sollitaire where we re-fuel.
We arrive at our lodge in the late afternoon and have time to freshen up, after which we enjoy an evening drive in the Namib Naukluft Park.

We rise at a reasonable hour and then set off for Sesriem Canyon. We aim to arrive at Sossusvlei in the late afternoon so we can experience the beautiful shadows cast by the curved dunes. We enjoy a light lunch at the rest camp (on your own account), before proceeding to Sossusvlei.

We head for Luderitz staying over in Helmeringhausen to break the long journey. Time permitting, we drive past Sossusvlei again.

We leave Helmeringhausen for Luderitz , making a short stop over at a small town called Aus where we have lunch.(on own account).
We arrive in the early afternoon at Kolmanskuppe and enjoy a scenic walk through this ghost mining town which is slowly but surely being reclaimed by the desert.

We rise early to explore more of Luderitz and its architecture.
On this day we make our way down to the canyon and arrive at Ai-Ais in the late afternoon in time to see the sun set over the second biggest canyon in the world.

This day is spent taking a tour into the Canyon to enjoy the awe- inspiring vastness of this natural wonder.

We leave the canyon behind us and head for an overnight stay at Marienthal to break our journey to Windhoek.

We rise a little late and make our way to Windhoek. Upon arrival we explore the city of Windhoek and its rich history. This is the second last day of our tour and we end the evening at Joe’s Beer House, a famous Namibian country style restaurant.

We rise early to allow sufficient time for you to get ready for your flight home and perhaps do a last minute shop.
Tour terminates at Hosea Kotaku airport 30 min outside Windhoek.
